Mike’s schedule Monday through Friday
  • 8:45-9:45 Group Cognitive Therapy
  • 9:15-10:15 Occupational Therapy
  • 10:45-11:15 Physical Therapy
  • Noon-1:00 pm LUNCH
  • 1:15-1:45 Speech Therapy
  • 1:45 Neuropsychology (Mon and Thursday only)
  • 2:45-3:15 Physical Therapy
  • 4:45-5:30 pm LUNCH
On Weekends, I’ve requested that his PT and OT sessions be completed in the morning. That way he’s free to see visitors in the afternoon. Also, If you’re there and he hasn’t had lunch or dinner yet, I have gotten word that we (friends/family) are allowed to wheel him down to the cafeteria on the 2nd floor to eat.

Ok - I just spent an hour writing a post only to have my computer crash. The deal? Mike was great today. Happy, alert, engaged. I even got to talk to him on the phone this morning and he was fantastic! No, no STM (was confident he hadn't yet had any therapy), but quite appropriate in conversation. While I was at the hospital this afternoon he was better than I've seen him thus far. Knew it was June and knew he was at Magee. Not everytime he was asked, but most of the time. I told him again about the Le Bec Fin lunch on Wednesday and he was very excited. The staff is being fantastic about it and I think they're trying to get us a special room or something to dine in.

Exhausted. Bax was up from 2-4 am. Miserable today once again with his freaking molars. Dinner was some turkey, a popsicle, a pudding, and 3 pieces of pasta. Welcome to toddlerhood folks.

Got to spend some good time with Mike this afternoon-- Dana, you know all the details. I am having fun with him "writing" our alphabet stories. Would be a kick if we could ever get them illustrated and printed!!! Maybe a one-off for Baxter!

Wanted to let folks know that there is a drawing pad on the window ledge-- and pencils/crayons in the top drawer of his nightstand... Mike and I did some doodling on Sunday-- so I brought these in in case he wasn't too tired to do some drawing. You'll need to position the pad for him -- but once he has the pencils in hand-- he's good!

Can't wait to see him on Weds or Thurs!

Danna, poor Mr. Bax. and poor mommy up at all hours. It will pass soon though! It was so nice to spend time with you at the beach, and very good to see a relaxed smile on your face. Give Mike a smooch for me.

How about a frozen bagel for Baxter's teething problem. Poor babala. You can tie it to his high chair so it doesnt' end up on the floor.

Thanks for the love for Mr. B.! He got sent home from school today with a 101.5 fever - which means no daycare tomorrow. We're going to the ped tonight at 7:15 pm to make sure there's not some ear infection or something going on.

let's hope it's teeth and not the dreaded hand foot and mouth disease!

Did you mean 4:45-5:30 pm DINNER? Or did you put lunch in there twice in case Mike had not remembered eating lunch???

(Just thought I would throw some short term memory humor in there)
